Welcome to Project: Redacted. This server runs on a highly customized Helix schema with deep integration between factions, facility systems, and SCP entities. Because many of our systems are hidden or command-based, use this guide to navigate your first few hours on site.
## 1. Getting Started: The Command Browser
Most of our unique systems are accessed through chat. You don't need to memorize everything—use the built-in help system:
/PRCommands: Lists every command available to your current rank and faction.
/PRHelp <command>: Provides the specific syntax and description for any command.
/Status: Quickly check your Hunger and Thirst levels.
/CheckXP: View your Global XP and your progress within your current Faction.
## 2. Faction-Specific Gameplay Loops
Each faction has a unique "loop" that earns XP and progresses the site's narrative.
Research & Medical
The Loop: Use a Sampling Kit to collect bio-samples from spills or SCPs, then process them at an Analysis Machine.
Documentation: File reports at Research or Medical Terminals. These are moderated by leads for XP and cash payouts.
Progression: Use the Exam Terminal to take rank-up exams. Higher ranks unlock better clearance and new classes.
Security & MTF
Equipment: You do not spawn with a full kit. Visit a Quartermaster to get your free basic gear (cuffs/keycard) and purchase weapon upgrades.
Restraints: Use Zip-ties to detain subjects. While they are restrained, use the /Search command to check their inventory.
Recontainment: During breaches, interact with Containment Panels or use a Facility Tablet (if leadership) to lock down sectors.
Site Services (Engineering, Janitor, Cook)
Engineering: Monitor doors for the "Broken" state and repair them. You can also repair damaged Containment Panels.
Supply Clerks: Use the Cargo Terminal to order crates. Delivering these to armory shelves restocks the site's weapons and earns you rewards.
Janitorial: Use a broom to clean Bio-spills and Trash Piles spawned by the system.
## 3. The SCP System
Our SCPs are player-controlled but operate on an "Opt-In" basis.
How to Play: Use /scp_optin (requires 2 hours of playtime). When an SCP breaches, the server will send a "Role Offer" to a random opted-in player.
Accepting: Use /scp_accept to immediately swap to the SCP role.
SCP-079: If playing as the AI, you are not a physical body. You inhabit the Node Graph. Use LMB/RMB to cycle through cameras and doors, and V to trigger local lockdowns.
## 4. Facility Codes & Access
The site's status is dictated by the Facility Code, which changes how systems behave:
Code
Status
System Impact
Green
Nominal
All systems standard.
Yellow
Elevated
Radio cleanup; soft restrictions applied.
Red
Breach
Radio channels collapse; LOCKDOWN_ON_RED doors trigger.
Black
Evacuation
Evacuation nodes activate; OPEN_ON_BLACK doors force open.
